🥬 This event allows you to master the natural fermentation process, explore our relationship with nature, and give you a new tool in your kitchen. 🥒
Join me for a semi-private workshop experience in the kitchen of the Ferment Inc. boutique! You'll learn the basics of lactofermentation by preparing two jars using two different techniques: dry fermentation and brine fermentation. You'll also receive the theory you need to understand how the fermentation process works and how it relates to the natural cycles of ecosystems and unique health.
Adopt fermentation as a ritual to reconnect to the present moment and nourish an intention for future well-being.
🕒 A two-part journey:
Part 1: Practical immersion workshop in lactofermentation (in person)
Part 2: Celebration, opening the jars 3 weeks later (video conference)
During this evening, you will discover the many facets of fermentation, far beyond its culinary dimension. This experience of human sharing combines theory and practice, engaging all your senses.
Educational content and more:
Learning ancestral techniques
Education on the environment and health benefits
Human and multisensory connection
Whether you're a fermentation enthusiast, a food lover, or simply curious, the event is suitable for all levels and groups. By participating in this event, you'll expand your knowledge of fermentation, meet other food enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and discover new flavors.
Julie, a self-taught fermenter and environmental expert, will guide you from theory to practice to give you the confidence to take action on your own at the end of the course. Her mission is to share her knowledge acquired after more than 6 years of successful experiments, but also errors, to be able to answer your questions or redirect you to the resource to help you by creating a friendly and enriching atmosphere that leads you to reconnect with your intuition.

About
Julie Desjardins, aka @minivivants
Multidisciplinary designer and Master of Environment (M. env.) who stands out for her intersectoral commitment through three main axes: mobilization, materiality and temporality. During an essay-creation on the acceleration of society causing the distancing of humans from nature, she is interested in the emotional means of rituals to give people the opportunity to slow down. Her philosophy is based on innovation, experimentation and continuous learning, inviting exploration, acceptance of error and wonder at the surrounding diversity. She advocates a connection with nature and the adoption of its rhythm, throughout the seasons.
